Zuccon International Project has turned their multidisciplinary skills into their core strength. The experiences and relevant skills that have been developed in their approach to planning and programmes both complex and dissimilar from one another such as the design of pleasure boats or yachts to architecture of commercial and residential buildings to the designs for the transport sector, are all supported by the same underlying principles. The cultural affinity and long term commitment to the client, the concept that the plan is the driving force and the role of ongoing research as an essential source for new ideas are the principles that have become the company’s mission and are a part of the thinking that all within the team consider when taking on a new project. Besides the technical skills, which can often be updated or purchased, only a deep knowledge of the client allows the designer to support the core ideas that any architectural plan, be it complex or not, must have. The architect must be humble and set as a goal the appreciation for the client’s history and only then will he succeed in creating that affinity with his “mentor”. Knowing who the client is creates a continuity which allows the designer to interpret and express in the product the firm’s culture and identity. Design plays a significant and strategic role in seeking and maintaining the corporate identity and is not produced to be an aesthetic embellishment, but as a productive force capable of coordinating all the other elements contributing to the design, structure and the realization of a product.
